The Research and Development Center (RDC) of the Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines (MCNP) is the center of scientific inquiry of the institution focusing on the context of health and social sciences which will help develop and uphold the Vision and Mission of the Institution. The office is also geared towards developing research studies and protocols to enhance practices and to develop policies that may raise the name of the institution. The RDC is also in accordance to the noble objectives of the institution, to provide excellent services to the stakeholders by providing scientific, valid, ethical, reliable and relevant information. The Research and Development Center is also very eager to respond to the different issues and concerns not just in the local setting but also to the international parlance thus, the RDC priorities was also anchored to the different local, national and international research priorities. This is also one way of developing studies and protocols that may address relevant and timely issues in the community. Aligning also the RDC’s Trust to National and International priorities will surely be the springboard of the office to show its concern by providing information to the pool of knowledge so as to participate in to the noble vison-mission of the partner agencies.
