MCNP-ISAP conducts Spiritual Enrichment for Holy Week
We remember; We celebrate; We believe.
The Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines and International School of Asia and the Pacific conducted spiritual enrichment activities such as Virtual Gospel Sharing, Way of the Cross, Prayer in the Way of Taize, and Virtual Recollection to observe the Lenten season.
All activities were undertaken virtually. The gospel sharing was done via Zoom Meeting on Maundy Thursday, while the Way of the Cross, which is one of the most popular and widespread devotion in the Catholic church was accomplished on Good Friday via official social media pages.
Prayer in the Way of Taize in which silence is necessary, and only short chants were repeatedly played over and over to highlight the time to rest in God was also fulfilled in the same day.
On Black Saturday, a Lenten recollection which was titled “Unbroken Love from a Broken Heart” was conducted by Rev Fr. Dennis Jake Ordillos, the Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao.
The spiritual enhancement activities were spearheaded by Mr. Aristotle Gonzales, Dean of the Office of the Students Services, and Mr. Ryan Fontanilla, RN, MSN, Adviser of the Campus Ministry.
These undertakings aim to encourage every Christian to ponder, reflect, and pray on the moments when Jesus saved the world.
