On the 23rd day of August 2016, Mr. Earl Don De Vera, and Ms. Novea Ramos, representing the white and yellow team respectively, took hold of the title-“Ginoo at Binibini Palaro at Wika 2016” bearing the theme, “Palaro at Wika 2016: Pundasyon ng kapatiran susi sa Pagpapalaganap ng Kaalaman” held at the MCNP-ISAP gymnasium. Surviving the challenges, De Vera emerged victorious on the said competition. He also won the Best in Ethnic attire award. The female category, has likewise undergone various triumphs, Ramos, from the yellow team, was proclaimed in the end. She also bagged the Best in Filipiñana award. Mr. Francis Castro, from the green team and Ms. Janine Bayang won 1st runner-up; and Mr. Vincent Enrico, a yellow team representative and Ms. Muscholary Rose Sinuto, white team representative were awarded 2nd runner-up.

In connection to the said event, candidates were awarded the following minor awards: Mr. Dominic Borleo, a yellow team representative, and Ms. Claudine Duriguez, a representative of the red team garnered the award for Mr. and Ms. Palakaibigan; for the award of best in ethnic attire, Mr. Earl Don De Vera and Ms. Cyril Hope Salud took hold of it; in the Sports attire category, Ms. Muscholary Rose Sinuto and Mr. Dominic Borleo took the award; while in the best in Filipiniana and Barong Tagalog category, Mr. Dominic Borleo and Ms. Novea Ramos won the said award; and Mr. Vincent Enrico, and Ms. Claudine Duriguez bagged the award of Mr. And Ms. Photogenic. The search for Ginoo at Binibini Palaro at Wika 2016 is a typical part of the general celebration of our Intramurals and Buwan ng Wika 2016, this has beaconed the commencement of the search.
